Customer Description

Our customer, Hapco Pole Products, was started in 1951 and is a leading manufacturer of aluminum and steel lighting poles and related products. Today, after over 50 years and multiple plant expansions, the skilled workforce continues to vigorously pursue the founder’s original commitment of “the highest quality” products in the lighting pole products industry.

Problem/Inquiry

Hapco was looking to utilize an area of their manufacturing facility for storage of raw materials. With ceiling heights of close to 30', they reached out to Mezzanine Distributors to discuss a mezzanine solution.

Solution

After an initial discussion with Hapco's engineers, Mezzanine Distributors designed and engineered a roughly 1,200 SF mezzanine with an internal staircase for mezzanine access. Our team also worked with the customer to design a shelving layout on top of and below the mezzanine that would store their raw materials.

After approval drawings were confirmed, fabrication began, and an installation date was sent. After shipping the materials to the job site, our Project Manager and Installer met with the customer on site on installation day to begin assembling the mezzanine and shelving.

As the shelving installation was being finished, our electrician was sent in to install the LED lighting underneath the mezzanine.
